    Ah !!!

Let me check in further detail when I have more time.

I have just the time to enclose an 11 page excerpt of the referenced document.

Longitudes are all reckoned in Time from Paris, with Paris Longitude being East of Greenwich by an amount of E -002°20'13.82", or 9m20.921s as published in the French "Introduction aux Ephémérides Astronomiques" (I own the 1997 edition) which is an absolutely remarkable document of the very same "upper-class" than our most celebrated "Explanatory Supplement to the Astronomical Almac" (I own the 1992 edition).

The Lunar Distance example happened on May 22, 1901 in the evening . See enclosure pages 1 to first part of page 7, and

The Lunar Occultation example happened on Mar 02, 1901 - NOT the same date as for the Lunar Distance - and you can find all relevant data from the middle of page all the way down to the end.

All quoted data as per 1901 Connaissance des Temps which at that time published data in the Paris Mean Time scale reference frame.

When I have more time, I will verify again and publish this occultation data translated from Paris position and Mean Time references into our current Greenwhich frame.

Hopefully you can make your way through it meanwhile.

Ahhh !!! I have just found my blunder, it was certainly all about not clearly specifying the right date of the occultation. Please accept my most sincere apologies.

    Best Regards

    Antoine M. "Kermit" Couëtte
