I bought the Starpath pdf version of the 1851
edition. Yes, it has a 26 page section on lunars that I assume is very similar
to what Bowditch originally wrote. Since it was written as a procedure for
practicing seamen, it relies on tables and does not go deeply into theory.
Still, it's nice to have available for a reasonable price.

I would appreciate comments from anyone who is familiar with this edition, particularly whether it has a good section on lunars. Christmas is coming
